This exceptional quality Alcohol free Pastry Stout is a Cherry Malt sensation and a UK first. Let’s start by saying that this beer looks pretty awesome, its plum black body sports a dense creamy head that lasts and lasts as it clings like a limpet to the glass. On the nose the deep roasted malts with hints of cacao beans rise up, accompanied by aromatic wisps of cherry. The taste is staggeringly good and surprisingly strong, remember we are talking <0.5% here. First the luscious mildly astringent cherries skate over the tastebuds and are swiftly accompanied by a mild and perfectly hopped bitterness. Right on cue, waves of chocolate and dark roasted malts come crashing in over your tongue filling your mouth and fusing together in a finish so dry it caresses your throat with an incredible alcohol like warmth that makes you realise you are drinking something really rather special.

Pour: Dark plum with a thick creamy head that stays throughout with a good Belgian lace down the glass. Aroma: Dark roasted malt with cocoa and cherry.

Taste: Full mouthfeel, mild sour cherry with chocolate with good hop bitterness, followed by dark roast malts with chocolate and a hint of espresso.

Finish: Fresh and dry with hints of cherry remaining in the background. Deceptively alcoholic as evident in the warmth this beer gives to the mouth and throat.
